Real estate guidance for people whose pets are part of the plan.

Buying or selling a home is already a big decision. When you have dogs, cats, horses, chickens, or other beloved animals to think about, the details matter even more. A home is not just square footage and countertops. It is where your dog will nap in the sun, where your cat will claim the best window, where your horses need safe space, and where your daily life needs to actually work.

As your REALTOR®, I help you look beyond the listing photos so you can make confident decisions about the home, the property, the neighborhood, and the lifestyle that comes with it.

Buying in Northern Arizona

Whether you are relocating, buying your first home, searching for a second home, or looking for a pet-friendly retreat in the pines, I help you understand your options and avoid expensive surprises.

Selling Your Home

Selling a home with pets requires a thoughtful plan. I help you prepare, market, and show your home in a way that protects your pets, reduces stress, and helps buyers see the full value of your property.

Pet-Friendly Home Search

From fenced yard potential to trail access, flooring, layout, neighborhood fit, and animal-friendly property features, I help you evaluate homes through a practical pet-owner lens.

What makes a home pet-friendly?

Pet-friendly does not mean one-size-fits-all. A perfect home for a senior cat may be completely wrong for two large dogs. A great setup for backyard chickens may not work for horses. And a home that looks beautiful online may have hidden issues that matter a lot once your animals move in.

When we work together, we can look at details such as:

  • Yard layout and fencing potential
  • Nearby trails, parks, and walkable areas
  • Flooring and surfaces that make sense for real life
  • Stairs, access, and safety for older pets
  • HOA rules and neighborhood restrictions
  • Space for crates, litter boxes, feed, tack, or supplies
  • Noise, traffic, wildlife, and environmental concerns
  • Property layout for horses, chickens, or larger animals

Because “cute house” is nice. “Cute house that actually works for your life” is better.

Buying a home in Flagstaff or Northern Arizona?

Northern Arizona is beautiful, but it is also unique. Elevation, winter weather, wildfire risk, rural utilities, septic systems, wells, HOAs, short-term rental rules, and neighborhood differences can all affect whether a property is truly the right fit.

My job is to help you slow down, look closely, ask better questions, and make a decision that feels good after closing — not just during the showing.

Selling a home with pets? Let’s make it easier.

Pets add joy to a home, but they also add practical considerations when it is time to sell. Showings, smells, scratches, yard wear, litter boxes, pet supplies, and daily routines all need a plan.

I help you prepare your home so buyers can focus on the property while your pets stay safe and comfortable. The goal is not to erase your life. The goal is to present your home clearly, calmly, and strategically.
